Interested In Joining

Gordon or Linda should be available at the trackside from 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.  They would be happy to introduce you to one or more of the coaches.

We are currently recruiting new athletes from 8 years and upwards.  If you as a parent or guardian would like to stay and help with coaching or administration, please make yourself known to This email address is being protected from spambots. Our home track is at Scotstoun Stadium in Danes Drive, Glasgow where we have access to both an outside 400m track and a 110m indoor track.

We train on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm till 8.30pm.  Some specialist coaches also train on Friday evenings or Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Scotstoun Based Athletes

For athletes who are members of a Scotstoun based training group, (identified by the Committee) a monthly fee will be paid for coaching sessions and unlimited access to the Stadium. 

The current cost is £14.00p per month for athletes up to 17 years of age (£11 goes to Glasgow Life to pay for access to the facility, the club retain £3 to pay for coaches and their training).  Athletes who are 18 years of age or over will pay £22.00p per month.

Other than in exceptional circumstances, training fees must be paid in 12 equal instalments on the 1st of every month. Fees are payable regardless of attendance.

 

In order that an athlete can represent their club at any athletic event, they will firstly have to join Scottish Athletics You can do this by visiting their site and downloading an application form.
