The Club hosted the first of our two Club Championship meetings on Sunday the 27th of July. A second date will be set in August or September.
There was a great turnout at Scotstoun with over 160 taking part. 50 of those were our U11's who took part in a very competitive Run, Jump and Throw competition.
Some of the best performances included Ethan Sabah Pottie's time of 11s dead in the senior mens 100m and Sol Stewart set a time of 11.2s in the U20 mens 100m.
Gavin Angus had a very narrow win in the U17 400m with a time of 56.9s, just ahead of Nils Jonsson who finished in 57.1s.
Samantha McClune won the U17 womens 100m in a time of 13.1s.
Steven Bryce won the senior mens 1500m with a time of 4:08.3 and Fraser Gilmour won the U17 mens race in a time of 2:12.5.
In the field, Callum Hendry had the longest throw of the day in the U17 hammer with a distance of 46.50m but Lewis Craigie addd 5m to his hammer pb with a throw of 45.50m.

The results of the U11's Run, Jump and Throw competition are at the below links. Points were awarded for places in each of the four events. The competition will resume at a date in either August or September.
The results scoreboard was amended on 17/07/21. Due to an oversight, two athletes with the surname McDaid were awarded each others points. The same error was made with three athletes with the surname Smith.
